Northern Green wishes to engage, support and develop green and social entrepreneurship enabling a common platform, dialogue forum and event organization for green and social enterprises in the region. We also strive to assist people that want to preserve local culture, historic buildings and traditions.

Role models as inspiration, Learning by example and Coaching each other are key methods that we are promoting to enable business owners to innovate and develop social entrepreneurship and sustainable processes in their enterprises and business environment.

Northern Green reaches out to a number of sustainable and social enterprises in the region to enable them to learn, share, develop and market their enterprises and ventures through the Northern Green Community.

The Northern Green community uses two different forums or platforms: Online and physical meetings and group events. We arrange Seminars, Workshops and Field trips to engage the members.

Inforganic's
As you see the world spinning faster and faster and the information flow entering our brains in a more rapid and pounding manner it's time to start thinking about what information stress leads us. We believe the growing risk of Information overload risk leading us in a less sustainable direction. Dealing with information in an efficient manner is increasingly developing into a key skill set in order to become a successful sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneur.

Working previously as a project manager and Management consultant i realized that if you are able to streamline your information flow then you are able to use information as a tool for learning, creativity and growth. I started a small project which i named 'Inforganic'. The project simply aims at inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs to learn how to utilize the various tools that are supplied by an increasing number of application developers and social media platforms

The project has  been somewhat on hold the last 18 months, but we are now having a dialogue about how we could integrate Inforganic here on Northern Green to help Green Entrepreneurs make better decisions and manage their information streams more efficiently. The Green effect, directly or indirectly, is pretty obvious to us.

Right now you can follow Inforganic on Twitter. There is also a tumblr blog that have been left 'sleeping' for some time because of all the new exiting projects arising, like The Northern Rose :)

Hopefully we'll find a smart way to utilize it in the Northern Green information flow shortly, since we hope it would benefit Social and Green Entrepreneurs and start ups managing their information flows more wisely.
