The new trendy liquor in Chiang Mai is the Maa Jai Dum, proudly distilled in the Sankampaeng area of Chiang Mai. Ma Jai dam translates as the" dog with a black heart". It’s a vodka kind of alcohol made from coconut nectar. In one of the small galleries of Nimmanhemin Rd. the owner taught me that the way to drink it is together with lime. So instead of your regular whisky soda, or Sangsom soda try this local version of a Margaritha. Mix;

Tipcos luxury limejuice and some additional squeezed lime to add to the sour taste, then balance the whole thing with your preferred amount of soda water.Yummy!
